VCR's Blobster Tank
Today’s Monstergirl Monday pic is a design that I’ve actually been bouncing around in my head for a fair while, a Scorpion monstergirl. I see plenty of Spider monstergirls, but rarely any Scorpions, and I think that’s a real pity. While she isn’t part of the story I’m working on with Moekki, she has a backstory that I’d really like to expand on eventually.

Blah, been so busy as of late, but I finally found time to finish something for Monstergirl Monday. I’ll try to revive it and keep it going but things are looking to be busy, especially with Anime Expo around the corner next month. For the time being, let’s introduce today’s monstergirl, the White Snake of Chinese legend, Bai SuzhenBai Suzhen is a motherly White Snake naga with an absurd level of magical ability. She’s head doctor of the town hospital, but even though she’s so talented with magic, she refrains from using it much at all due to a heartbreaking event in her past. She’s rather old fashioned, but she knows the merits of both ancient chinese medicine and modern medicine. As a result she uses a combination of both in her treatments. Even though she doesn’t like using magic, she’s more than willing to spread her vast magical knowledge to anyone seeking it. Bai Suzhen is also crazy about love, and gets riled up whenever someone talks to her about affections. It gets to the point where she’ll go to any lengths to hook them up with the object of their affections, even if their affection was merely on a friendship level.

Excuse me for not updating Monstergirl Monday as frequently as I should, I’ve been working on a story idea with a friend and we have quite a bit to go. That’s a story for another time, for now here’s today’s monstergirl, Grendel.Grendel is a troll in every sense of the word. She loves to irritate people, especially online, and tries to incite conflict and arguments with whoever she meets. She loves the attention, and attempts to get it any way she can. She’s very strong, though a bit weaker than typical trolls (her massive club is really just hollow plastic!), and she speaks with slightly broken English. However, Grendel is by no means stupid. She’s incredibly smart, and can figure out what gets to a person’s nerves in short time. She’s also really good at computers, and using them to further her trolling goals. Despite all this, her bark is worse than her bite, and she’s incredibly remorseful when she trolls someone she likes. She also gets quite lonely easily.

Made a punny Hisao Valentine’s Day card~
Inspired by the punny Katawa Shoujo Valentine’s Day cards I’ve seen floating around here (idk who made them sdjfdsk) and noticed they didn’t make a Hisao one.
I don’t even know what I’m doing with anything ever

Haha, aww that’s cute! I’m the person who drew the punny KS Valentine’s cards originally lol, I’m hoping that I can finish redoing them in time for V-Day this year.

Eff you for taking the magic away from Derpy’s cameo, and ensuring that we can never have nice things.

Her voice is beautiful, she is beautiful.

You suck.

Who can I write to tell the studio that I loved her?

Fucking this man. It’s ridiculous how irrationally people try to be politically correct. And idiots on both sides misusing and abusing the term ‘ableism’ is seriously grating at me as well.

Today’s Monstergirl Monday is the first of a series, to officially ring in the year of the DRAGON. This is the first dragon type, a Wyrm.Wyrms are among the most common Dragon types. They are identified primarily for their heavy plate scales, which make it extremely hard to damage, and their lack of wings. They are also often the slowest of the dragons types, though there are some exceptions.Wyrm-tan is a misnomer among her species. Defying every aspect of what a Dragon should be. She’s clumsy, easily embarrassed and flustered, doesn’t remember how strong she really is, and often takes a bit to process information. She loves pink and cute things, and tries to dress up in cute outfits as often as possible. Her scales protect her well, though you can see small scratches here and there from previous accidents. Even though she herself isn’t hurt, the same can’t be said about others around her and the environment. Tripping over her own claws while running results in severe injury or property damage. A slight sneeze can destroy an entire section of a house. And a little roach scurrying on the ground can lead to fissures in the ground, or even a building collapsed upon itself. Wyrm-tan ends up doing work as an apology for damaging whatever’s around her, though that often leads to even more issues…

Sorry for not posting for a month and some, everyone who followed me for Monstergirl Monday, I got sidetracked by helping Beta test Katawa Shoujo [insert shameless plug here]. Anyway, today’s Monstergirl Monday pic is another request, a Beholder.Beholder-tan is based upon the D&D monster of the same name, more specifically the Hive Mother. In the modern era, Beholders have moved past their xenophobic nature, especially towards their own species, and are relatively peaceful, though they are known to pick fights between one another from time to time. Beholder-tan in particular is a very sweet monstergirl that hates conflict, so when she sees other monsters fighting, especially other Beholders, she uses her magic to calm them down by any means. Each of her eyes contain a small reserve of magic she uses sparingly, and the eyes on her hands contain the most magic. Mainly using said magic to make day to day life easier and to end fights between other monsters, every now and then when she loses her temper, she fires off rays of concentrated magic erratically from her many eye stalks. When she finally calms down, she ends up needing to rest in order to recover her magical reserves for a few day.
